If you update or upgrade your SongPop there is no reason for you to lose your progress. The only reason anyone ever loses their progress if they do not know their login information. As long as you login via Facebook or via your Email Address and a password that you know, you will always have your SongPop Progress. Keeping your username and password somewhere where you can access it is a good idea.
If you log in via a wam_dummy email account, then unless you know the password for this account, when you try to reset your password or get a new one it will send to the email address that doesn't exist (wam_account). In this case, you can have us change your wam_account email to your actual email address, at which point you'll be able to request a password and log back into your account.
Remember, your SongPop Username is NOT -
Your Facebook Name (i.e. Jane D.)
Your Game Center Username (Welcome Back Jane D.!)
To find your true SongPop Username (via Mobile Device)
1.) Choose the icon with the person and gears in the upper right corner.
2.) Choose "My Profile"
3.) Choose "Edit"
4.) Here your Username is displayed.
To find your true SongPop Username (via Web Browser)
1.) Choose the icon with the gears in the upper right of your SongPop Navigation, select "Profile".
2.) Choose "Edit"
3.) Here your Username is displayed.
Another thing to remember about your SongPop Username: Usernames are always cAsE sEnSiTiVe so we cannot look you up if you send us a username with wrong capitalization/spaces/characters. It is important that you send us the username exactly as it is displayed in your SongPop Profile Settings.
