It's a playlist related to the Italian rock.
Italian music is more known for her melodic classics, but there's an historic italian rock scene.
From the progressive rock classics of 60s/70s, with PFM and Area as headliners, to the new wave scene of the 80s represented by Diaframma, Litfiba, Neon and Pankow and the punk of CCCP and CSI, to the alternative rock scene of the 90s with Afterhours, Marlene Kuntz and Verdena and ending with the mainstream rock of Ligabue, Negrita and Vasco Rossi Italian rock was an important part of the Italian music in the 21st century.
Now the Italian rock scene has a good noise rock scene with One Dimensional Man and Teatro degli Orrori, a more electronic and catchy rock with Baustelle and I Cani and new indie rock groups like Management del Dolore post-operatorio, Marta sui Tubi and Pan del Diavolo, with the mainstream rock of Ligabue, Negramaro, Negrita and Vasco Rossi which is really popular.
